Welcome to our home on beautiful Shuswap Lake. We are a
small Canadian owned and operated family business and we
have been working very hard in anticipation of your
arrival. Our wish is that you have a wonderful, relaxing
and enjoyable vacation taking in all of the unique
opportunities that this area has to offer.
Celista Landing is a family oriented development. We do
request your co-operation to ensure that everyone has a
good time. Please do your part to allow us all to enjoy
a fun filled safe summer !
GUEST STAY AGREEMENT
WHEN YOU RESERVE A BOOKING ONLINE WITH SHUSWAP HOLIDAYS
FROM THIS WEBSITE
YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING POLICIES
Each time you access and use this Web Site and/or the
content, you signify your acceptance and agreement, and
the acceptance and agreement of any natural person,
incorporated or unincorporated entity you purport to
represent, without limitation or qualification, to be
bound by these Policies, and you represent and warrant
that you have the legal authority to agree to and accept
these Policies on your own behalf and on behalf of such
natural person, incorporated or unincorporated entity you
purport to represent.
The following policies are firm and
agreed to by the contracting guest when booking our
townhouse. If we find that you are in violation of any
these policies prior to or during your reservation dates,
we will cancel your reservation, without a refund.
Please read these carefully and contact us if you have
any questions or concerns in this regard, or require any
clarification on any of these policies. These policies apply to all guests and any visitors to
the property. The contracting guest will be held
financially liable for any costs as a result of breach of
these terms.
CHECK IN INFORMATION, DELIVERY OF INSTRUCTIONS AND
ACCESS INFORMATION:
Complete resort information, arrival / check in
instructions with coded access info will be emailed to you
upon final payment.
PAYMENT: Upon making your reservation, we require a
deposit of 50% of your total payment. The balance of your
payment is due 60 days prior to arrival. Your payment may
be made by personal cheque, Interac bank transfer or money
order.
LATE RESERVATION PAYMENTS: If payments not received
by the required due date printed on your invoice your
reservation will be cancelled.
CANCELLATION POLICY: (Please read Carefully) All
deposits and balance of payments are non-refundable unless
your reservation can be replaced less a 25% administration
fee. We will however attempt to resell the reservation
time booked if you have to cancel. If the townhouse is
re-booked we will issue you a cheque for the balance less
25% administration fee. Reservations cannot be
canelled due to weather conditions, flooding, forest fires
or any other act of god.
All cancellations must be in writing.
We recommend you purchase cancellation insurance for all
holidays in case of any unexpected events.
CHECK IN TIME: 4 pm strictly enforced. Early check
in possible if confirmed in advance.
CHECK OUT TIME: 10 am strictly enforced. Late check
out possible if confirmed in advance.
MAXIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS: Celista Landing Townhouse
(A) holds a maximum of 6 overnight guests and Celista
Landing Townhouse (B) holds a maximum of 4 overnight
guests. . Exceeding this overnight number will
result in the eviction by our security company.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT: There is a $1000.00 Damage Deposit
required and dated 60 days prior to check-in. The damage
deposit cheque will be held in trust and refunded upon
inspection of the townhouse and its contents.
SMOKING: The townhouse is non-smoking. Smoking
inside the unit will result in an automatic loss of the
damage deposit. If you do smoke please smoke outside away
from other townhouses.
TERMS OF EVICTION: Excessive noise, disturbing the
peace, smoking, threat of common or private property
damage, disobeying of the pet policies, excess of
overnight allowable guests without our permission will
result in legal eviction by the security company plus loss
of your damage deposit. Please be considerate of other
guests and owners staying in the complex.
HOUSEKEEPING: Complimentary upon arrival and
departure. Townhouses are to be maintained by the guests.
As a courtesy to our housekeeping staff, please clean and
replace all dishes into the cupboards before departure.

There will be a $30.00 charge for unloading the
dishwasher or dirty dishes left in the townhouse.

Please leave townhouse in clean condition after
departure except for soiled linens and towels.

Towels are supplied in the bathrooms (one set per
guest). These are to be maintained by the guests. Any
towels missing from the unit will be charged back to the
guest in the amount of $30.00 each.
MINIMUM BOOKING AGE REQUIREMENT: 25 must be a
responsible adult.
DELAYED ARRIVALS: We are not responsible for
delayed arrivals.
PROPERTY DAMAGE (Booking guest is fully
responsible): Damage includes, but is not restricted to:
noise complaints, common or private property damage,
excessive cleaning charges, lost, broken or missing common
or private property items, smoking inside the townhouse,
pets inside the townhouse and all charges relating to
security company or police involvement regarding
occupant's behaviour while in the townhouse or on common
premises.
LIABILITY: We are not responsible for any bodily
harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our
property or at any location in Celista Landing or Saratoga
Resort and Marina.
RESERVATION CHANGES: Reservations may be changed in
compliance with our cancellation policy.
REFUSAL OF BUSINESS: Past guests responsible for
damage, missing items or property policy violations in
this property, or any other property as reported by other
owners, will be refused rentals in the property. Any guest
who is deemed to represent any policy violation risk will
be cancelled and issued a full refund within 48 hours of
their deposit paid.
POLICY UPDATES: Policies are subject to change
without notice.
DOCK: No lifeguard on duty (accompany children at
all times). Use dock at your own risk. The dock is a
private dock to be shared by other guests. No diving,
running or horseplay on the dock. Dock space is limited to
one boat or personal watercraft per townhouse.
Neighbouring docks are private property, do not use.
CAMPERS, RECREATIONAL VEHICLES OR TENTS: Strata
Rules absolutely prohibits any campers, recreational
vehicles or tents to park or be set up on the strata
property which is all parking area around the townhouses
and grass area. If this rule is not obeyed you will loose
your damage deposit and the camper, RV or tent will be
removed at owners expense.
PET POLICY: We
recognize that many people travel with their pets but we
also recognize that many people have allergies or other
issues. Therefore we have certain units that are pet
friendly and others where pets are not permitted. Shuswap
Holidays may refuse accommodation to any pet, for any
reason, at it sole discretion. Should permission for a pet
stay be granted, the following must be met.
The owner will supply bedding, food and water dishes and
pet food.
The pet must not be left unattended within the townhouse
or anywhere on the resort property.
The pets behavior must not be allowed to impact the quiet
enjoyment of the resort or other guests.
Pets must be on a leash at all times while on resort
property.
The owner will be responsible for disposing of their pets
waste deposited on resort property.
Pets are not permitted on the furniture or beds.
The owner assumes full responsibility for any damage
caused, or excessive cleaning, for whatever reason, as a
result of the pet.
An additional charge of $150.00 will be applied to the
base rental for extra cleaning and pet stay fees.
FIREWORKS: CSRD bylaws absolutely prohibits any
Fireworks to be set off. This rule is in place
to protect owners and guest’s boats from being
damaged from falling sparks and the risk of fire or forest
fires. If this rule is not obeyed you will be assessed a
fine from the strata management corporation and loose your
damage deposit.

ADDITIONAL POLICIES FOR CELISTA LANDING DOCK AND PARKING
DOCK: No lifeguard on duty (accompany children at
all times) Use of dock is at your own risk. The dock is a
private dock to be shared by each Townhouse A & B
(Upstairs & downstairs) No diving, running or
horseplay on dock. Please be considerate of other guests.
Dock space is limited to one boat or personal watercraft
per townhouse. Neighboring docks are private property, do
not use.
BUOYS: Boaters should always use buoy at night time
or during stormy weather. Watch for changing weather. The
buoys for Townhouse A & B are the large white floats
with 12 on the top which are slightly to the left of the
townhouse. Only one buoy is available for each townhouse.
They are marked 12.
ROWBOAT: Use of rowboat at your own risk. Always
where a life jacket. Children are not permitted to use the
rowboat. Use the rowboat to return from the buoy once you
have anchored your boat. Please be considerate of other
guests who need to use the rowboat.
PARKING: You may park on the side of the townhouse
or on the left side of the pull in driveway. Boat trailers
and overflow parking is located across the Hwy. to the
right at the corner of (Squilax Anglemont Hwy & Meadow
Creek Road). There is an open lot that is owned by Celista
Landing.
